“The Liverpool canoe polo tournament took place at Albert docks in Liverpool on the 24th and 25th of June. There were 36 teams competing overall within the 5 different divisions varying in ability, with teams coming from all over Britain from Northern Ireland to South Wales. There were plenty of surrounding tents and gazebos selling food and drink for the spectators and players. The event took place on the same weekend as the armed forces days in Liverpool with the red arrows flying over the playing field. Overall it was a really enjoyable weekend for all, with massive thanks to Friends of Allonby Canoe Club for hosting the event.”
